Study Ethics and Ethical Clearance Policy
All manuscripts submitted to The Journal of Educational Innovation and Research (JEIR) that involve animal experiments and/or human participants must have received prior approval from an independent ethics committee or an institutional review board (IRB).
Ethical clearance may be issued by the Research Ethics Committee of the author’s affiliated institution or by another officially recognized ethics body. The approval document must clearly state the ethical clearance number and the name of the approving institution. Authors are required to provide a copy of the ethical clearance approval to the editorial office at the time of submission.
Manuscripts should also explicitly mention the ethical approval in the Methods section, including the name of the ethics committee, the approval number, and a statement confirming that the study adhered to relevant national and international ethical standards, such as: The Declaration of Helsinki for research involving human participants.
If applicable, authors must also confirm that informed consent was obtained from all human participants, and that privacy, confidentiality, and anonymity were respected. For research involving vulnerable populations, additional safeguards must be described.
Important:
The absence of an official ethical clearance approval will result in immediate rejection of the submission. JEIR strictly enforces this requirement to ensure that all published research upholds the highest standards of ethical integrity.
